Description

A fun and easy dish combining crunchy Doritos, fresh veggies, and seasoned meat, perfect for parties or quick lunches.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Doritos
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained (optional)
  • 1 cup corn (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, black beans, and corn.
  4. Add the cooked meat to the salad mixture.
  5. Before serving, crush the Doritos and sprinkle them on top.
  6. Drizzle with sour cream and salsa, then toss gently to combine.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container without the Doritos. Add them just before serving for maximum crunch. For extra flavor, consider adding diced avocado or jalapeños.
