Description

A delightful small batch seafood boil featuring shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, perfect for a cozy dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 ear of corn, cut into pieces
  • 2 small potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, add enough water to cover the potatoes and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add the corn and sausage to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic and Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine.
  5. Drain the seafood mixture and return it to the pot. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the seafood and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
