Description

A delightful and refreshing dessert combining fresh peaches and creamy mousse, perfect for warm weather gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 moist yellow cake, cubed
  • 2 cups Whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 packet Gelatin or 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine whipped cream and sugar in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Fold in softened gelatin or whipped topping.
  3. Mix diced peaches with a bit of sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Layer cubed yellow cake, peach mixture, and cream mixture in serving glasses or trifle bowls.
  5. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream and peach slices on top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or until set.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Trifles can be made a day ahead.
