Description

Soft, fluffy rolls made with sweetened condensed milk for a delightful twist, perfect for snacks or breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk, butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Pour in the yeast mixture.
  4. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls. Place them on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Cover and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure the milk is warm but not hot to activate the yeast properly. Knead the dough thoroughly for a smooth texture.
