  2. Steep each type of tea bag in 1/4 cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  4. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy in a large bowl.
  5. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and cooled tea.
