Description

A fun and flavorful way to enjoy hard-boiled eggs coated in a delicious seafood boil sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1½ tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup garlic, minced
  • 2¼ teaspoons seafood seasoning
  • 1½ teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ¾ cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove it from heat, and let it sit for 10–12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath. Allow them to cool completely before peeling.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the seafood seasoning, lemon pepper, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, and red chili flakes.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add the peeled eggs to the sauce, spooning the sauce over them. Simmer for another 5–8 minutes to let the eggs absorb the flavor.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve these eggs as an appetizer or main dish. They pair well with crusty bread and a fresh salad.
