Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 green onions, sliced

Gluten-Free Teriyaki Sauce

¼ cup gluten-free soy sauce (tamari)

3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (gluten-free)

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon grated ginger

½ cup water

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

Whisk together tamari, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.

Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and bring to a simmer.

Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce becomes thick and glossy, 1–2 minutes.
