Description

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these air fryer apple fritters are a quick and easy treat made with simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Slowly mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  7. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  8. Carefully remove the fritters and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter finish, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze. Serve with coffee or yogurt.
