Description

Light, creamy chocolate mousse cups layered with fresh raspberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh raspberries for layering
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold a third of the whipped cream into the melted chocolate until combined, then fold in the remaining whipped cream until no streaks remain.
  4. Layer the chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries in serving cups.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with mousse on top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.
  7. Top with chocolate shavings and extra raspberries if desired.

Notes

Serve chilled in small clear cups. They pair well with coffee or a light dessert wine.
